I ended up with:

You are a Social Personality Type!

Social people make great teachers! They are great with people because they are open and friendly, and they care about others. They are cooperative, which makes them good in many programs and careers.

They may always be in the center of activity and they are likely to have lots of friends. They are interested in social issues, and they are likely to become politically active. They may use social skills to influence others.

Possible degree programs: Teaching, Ministry, Coaching, Counseling, Nursing, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, History, Journalism, Psychology.

I had no interest in any of those programs except teaching - I actually started college as an education major, intent on being a teacher since I was six years old. However, along the way, I realized that children and their parents had changed a lot since I was in grade school. Yikes! I changed my major to art... which I loved but it didn't pay a whole lot! So, now I'm an analyst (which I also enjoy)... go figure!?

Yikes. My last paragraph got cut-off somehow (see how long English majors write? Heh).

I took the quiz and, yay, ended up as "Artistic" type. Funny, though, heh, because I'm wondering how much weigh the "enthralled with English lit'" and "in pioneer days you'd be a: writer" answer helped formulate my result.

I wouldn't have cared if I ended up as a "you should've been an Engineer" or "you should've been a teacher" conclusions. Inherently, we all know our what crossroads our skills and likes meet; study what you can sustain and love.

Yikes. Heh. Well, Tree, for me . . . I graduate in English because the field was just so enthralling for me, even from small kid time. That's why I tell young uns (if asked) to study/major in a field they truly enjoy (not to say that you didn't, Tree, of course). Me, I like to read literary studies and criticism (classic, post-mod' weirdness and all; they ALL matter) in my spare time . . . and I'm a long ways off from getting my degree.

I resented those who tried to major in Business or Engineering and relegated themselves into English lit'; "Phonies," I would call them. But, then I found out later it worked both ways -- with folks dead-set on majoring in English then found the sciences or Business, etc., more appealing.

Study something that you'll know you'll still be interested long after graduation. I mean, you wanna be known for something that you love. Heck, I got people from different departments where I work, people I've never HEARD of asking me for grammatical and writing advice.

You are a Conventional Personality Type! (NOT!)

Okay, so I majored in Criminal Justice and am in that feild, and absolutely love it! I never could see myself teaching, as I personally would want to smack the little punks half the time, and numbers aren't my bag, so business and accounting are out too.

This just doesn't fit me.

Investigative people are good at getting to the bottom of things. They like to solve problems and find answers. They are strong in math and science, or could be if they tried. They are good at drawing maps, making charts, and working with formulas.

Investigative people like to explore and challenge ideas--even those that are long-held beliefs. They may not be comfortable working in groups. They are analytical, curious, and original.
Possible degree programs: Math, Science, <strike>History</strike>, Medical, Computer, Nursing, Architecture, Research.
Yay for math! Ugh to history! I didn't even take Hist classes; I took Rel 150 and Geog 102. :-D

One more year of math classes to go...

Hmmm, same as JuSaMee, a Conventional Personality Type....However, I don't fit the career/college major choices. I am and would gravitate to the artistic, but perhaps not the Artistic Personality Type. Personality may be conventional but interest and passion is artistic...all hemajang.

You are a Conventional Personality Type!

Conventional people are fond of history and they like to observe holidays. They are traditional and they like to know exactly what is expected of them in every situation. They are practical and very structured.

Conventional people might be good at math, but they may not want to work with numbers a lot. They can usually fit in to any group, but they don't necessarily want to lead all the time. They are not too interested in talking about feelings or deep relationships.
Possible degree programs: Teaching, History, Nursing, Accounting, Computers, Finance, Real Estate, Insurance, Research, Business.

funny thing...i did actually consider teaching, nursing, accounting, computers, and finance!! and ironically my current job involves real estate!! but if i could afford it i'd rather be a stay at home mommy...i wonder how i can answer the questions to get that response?? my undergrad was in public administration and i got my MBA, hmmm...very interesting. but now i'm thinking of considering teaching, but maybe not the traditional type...i dunno...i don't wanna grow up...i wish i really could stay a toys r us kid! lol!!

Well, I took it. Cool quiz.

You are the Realistic Type!

Realistic people are practical, physical, usually pretty fit, and hard-working. They may like to work out doors, in a broad range of areas. Realistic people enjoy nature and may like to work in the forest, on building sites, on a police force, or on a farm.

Realistic people are curious and they like to see how things work. They make great engineers. They are reliable and a bit traditional.

Possible college majors and careers include: Engineering, Agriculture, Animal Science, Construction, Landscaping, Police work, Fire Science, Drafting, Architecture, Park Ranger.

It all seems like me. I'm actually really interested in landscaping and would love to be a froest ranger. Alas, I majored in Am. and Ethnic Studies, nothing to do with the real world. At least my job allows me to get outside for work and view different types of landscapes and architecture.
