Let the dogs out
June 13th, 2008 by Treena ShapiroI was in bed nursing a chest cold last night while my 4-year-old bounced around singing, “Let the dogs out, ooo, ooo, ooo, ooo!”
“Who let the dogs out?” I corrected.
“You,” she responded.
“No,” I explained. “The song goes, “Who let the dogs out?”
“Knock, knock,” she said, ignoring me.
“Who’s there?”
“Let the dogs out.”
“Let the dogs out, who?”
“Let the dogs out, ooo, ooo, ooo, ooo!” she said as she resumed jumping around.
“Woof,” I muttered and let her go.

If your dad didn’t get you this job you wouldn’t be wasting everyone’s time here. The entire staff at the Star Bulletin and Advertiser know you have no talent and your dad got you this work.
Just like your dad, you are another hypocrite making a living hiding behind the 1st Amendment, but censoring other people’s opinions if you don’t agree.

WhoCare’s accusations are absurd.
Treena may have her father’s talented DNA, but she is a gifted writer and astute reporter in her own right who’s worked very hard to get where she is.
And, as regular readers of this blog will attest, she’s doing this while working just as hard at being a good single mother.
